Can my pet be a beneficiary in my Will (i.e. Will a specific asset(s) to my pet)?

No, as pets are considered property in Singapore.

You can, however, give your pet away to someone you trust and leave instructions on how you want the pet to be taken care of under Additional Instructions.

Example: Giving the pet away to a specific person

Additionally, you can also give assets to the person to use to take care of the pet.

Example 1a: Giving a fixed amount of an asset

OR

Example 2b: Giving the entire asset
