Must a Will be complicated to be comprehensive?

Thankfully not! While we admit there are some common “difficult” terms people use in a Will (e.g. Testator, Beneficiaries, Trustees), you should make your Will as easily understood as possible. A well written Will shouldn’t be so complicated such that it becomes difficult for people to understand. Think in terms from the viewpoint of your Executor, will he/she be able to easily and fully understand what your intentions are in this Will. It is exactly when a Will gets too complicated that people start interpreting it in different ways that result in disputes.
