Is it mandatory to use "Get Consent & Prep"? Can I just jump straight into the Will drafting process for my clients?

Get Consent & Prep function as the name implies does two things, ensures compliance with any Personal Data Protection regulations and sends a preparation email to your client to prepare them accordingly.

As a company, we strongly recommend you to use it before assisting your client. Even if you disregard the need for preparation, system wise there are "black and white records" that consent has been sought. There's a reason why this is a lawyer-vetted system and not just a lawyer vetted template. 

That being said, if you have your own ways of getting consent AND have methods of proving it, then well... at your own risk then!
