What details should I put in if I'm depositing my Will records into the Singapore Wills Registry?
The WILLS Registry, maintained by Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), is a confidential registry where testators (people making a will) or their solicitors can deposit information on WILLS. It is NOT compulsory to deposit your WILL record with the registry. The validity of your will does NOT depend on whether you have deposited your WILL record with the registry or not.
getArrange.com ONLY helps to register Wills that are physically kept in our getArrange Vault to ensure the accuracy of the information provided by us and other security reasons. If you wish to keep your physical Will (generated from getArrange.com) yourself but still wish to register it in the Singapore Wills Registry, you can do so directly on the Singapore Academy of Law website using your Singpass.

The "WILL Deposit Details" section can be broken down to 3 parts:

Under "PARTICULARS OF PERSON WHO MADE THE WILL"
a. Key in your (i.e. the Testator's) own personal details.
b. At the bottom of the section, select Will was drawn up by (X) Solicitor / Company.
Please note that the date of the Will refers to the date of the Will signed by you and your two witnesses.

Under "WHERE THIS WILL IS HELD"
a. If your physical Will is kept with getArrange.com (i.e. via gA-Vault), please select "Yes" under "Is the WILL Held at the Same Address as the Person Who Drew Up the Will?" and under "Name" key in Arrange Pte Ltd. Otherwise, please select "No" and key in where you held the Will (e.g. your home address) accordingly.b. If you have multiple copies of the Will, you can add in under "Do you want to add a second address".
