What does the "Delink Will" button do?

Users who completed their Wills with assistance from our Certified Estate Planner (i.e. through their CEP account) gets one year access to their own User account linked to THIS CEP account. This is to allow users to edit and re-generate their Wills (if needed), especially for those who realised they missed out some details (e.g. beneficiary's NRIC number or details about a particular asset) or those who decided to buy new assets (e.g. insurance policies or investments) shortly after the Will was completed.

By default, the User account and the CEP account are linked. This means whatever updates on either account will be reflected accordingly on the other.

Clicking on the "Delink Will" button will remove such linkage. It removes the User's Will data from the CEP account and from then on, the draft Will can only be accessed / edited /generated from the User account.

Our Certified Estate Planners are professionals who have been trained by getArrange.com in assisting their clients in getting their Wills done. The linkage also allows an easier assistance from the CEP after the one year period when the user no longer have access to the User account.

To prevent untrained users from accidentally delinking the Wills, we have removed the button in the User account. Users who wish to delink their account from their CEPs can do so by writing in to us (via their registered email) at info@getarrange.com
