What if I have Last Words which I do not want anyone other than a few selected people to know about?

In Singapore, as part of the probate process (after the Testator dies), the Will has to be submitted to Court. While the Will is not "open to the public" for viewing, for the right reasons, relevant personnel can apply to Court request to see it (e.g. beneficiaries who are disputing the distribution of the assets).

By default, our platform generates your Final / Last Words as part of the Will itself.

If you want your Final / Last Words to strictly be viewed by only a few selected people, you should put them in a separate document. You can write in the Will where you keep this document and how to retrieve them. These can also be individual letters to specific individuals (i.e. a unique letter to each individual) for your Executor to pass to them upon your demise.
