How do I make a gift to a beneficiary conditional upon them taking care of my pet?
Do note that substitute beneficiaries (in this case, the individuals who are willing and able to adopt and care for the dogs) are also considered beneficiaries under the Will. Hence, they and their spouse CANNOT be witnesses to the Will.
Applying to the beneficiary’s share of a specific asset
This section is intended for the condition to apply only to a specific asset. It will not affect other assets, including any residual assets, allocated to him/her.
Under the Allocate Assets tab, select an asset, and allocate the asset (either entire or partial) to your "primary beneficiary". Under " Additional Instructions" in the asset, key in the condition:
If my {Relationship}, {Name}, {Identification Number/details}, refuses to or is unable to assume full responsibility for the care of my pet {Type of Pet} at the time of my death, the share of this asset which he/she would otherwise be entitled to receive under this Will shall be redistributed to such person or organisation as is willing and able to adopt and care for my pets.

Applying to the beneficiary’s entire share of the estate
This section is intended for the condition to apply only to the entire estate. It will affect all assets, including any specific gifts and residual assets, allocated to him/her.
In the "Select Clauses" tab, toggle on "Other Instructions" and key in the following:
If my {Relationship}, {Name}, {Identification Number/details}, refuses to or is unable to assume full responsibility for the care of my pet {Type of Pet} at the time of my death, the share of my estate which he/she would otherwise be entitled to receive under this Will shall be redistributed to such person or organisation as is willing and able to adopt and care for my pets.
