Are there any manual or pre-payment options for my platform subscription fees?

Like other subscription services, our payment provider (Stripe) will, by default, automatically deduct your subscription fee from your registered card on the renewal date. You will receive email and WhatsApp notifications 7 days in advance of the deduction.

If the deduction attempt fails, there will be a 3 week grace period during which our payment provider will automatically retry the deduction. You will also receive a notification via the CEP WhatsApp Support Channel if this occurs.

To update your payment method or change your renewal settings, log into your account and navigate to: Settings >> Payment & Account.

You may request to pre-pay your subscription under the following terms:

  1. You cannot pre-pay if you have any outstanding subscription fees.
  2. As the pre-payment process is currently manual, a minimum 1-month notice is required.
  3. An administrative surcharge of $25 will apply.
  4. The $25 surcharge will be waived if you pre-pay for 2 years' worth of subscription.
  5. All pre-payments are strictly non-refundable (partial or otherwise) and will be forfeited if you are unable to continue your subscription.
  6. You may only pre-pay for a maximum of 2 years.
  7. To initiate a pre-payment request, contact us via the CEP WhatsApp Support Channel.
  8. We will take up to 3 working days to process your request and issue a payment link.
  9. The payment link will be valid for 7 calendar days and will be voided thereafter without reminder or follow-up.
  10. If the link is voided, your subscription will revert to automatic renewal using your registered card. Standard retry attempts will apply as mentioned above.

Examples

Assume your subscription renewal date is 12 June every year:

  • To pre-pay for the 12 June 2025 subscription, you must inform us any time between 13 June 2024 and 12 May 2025.
  • If your request is made on 12 May 2025, you can still pre-pay for the 2025 renewal. An administrative surcharge of $25 applies unless you also pre-pay for the 2026 renewal, in which case the surcharge is waived. You cannot pre-pay for the 12 June 2027 subscription as you can only pre-pay for a maximum of 2 years.
  • If your request is made on 15 May 2025, you can no longer pre-pay for the 2025 subscription or the 2026 one. You must wait until after 13 July 2025 to submit a new pre-payment request.
