How do I add a modified instructions to specify if a beneficiary passes before me, the share of my estate which he would otherwise be entitled to receive shall still be given to him contributing to his estate, which excludes Specific Gifts with Additional Instructions that specify a different redistribution?

Say you intend for part of your estate, where some specific gifts have substitute beneficiaries (e.g. property to wife and son, and if son dies before you, redistribute to wife), or to have some specific gifts to still be given to any deceased beneficiaries contributing to his/her/their estate (e.g., bank account to the three daughters to be given to them regardless). For all other assets without such specification, you would like to specify the deceased beneficiary’s share of the entire estate to still be given to him contributing to his estate.

To do so, you can make the following configurations within the platform.

List the asset(s) individually under the "Allocate Assets" tab and allocate them accordingly.

Under "Additional Instructions" within the asset details, include one of the substitute beneficiary clauses (specific assets),

or instructions to specify for the asset given to deceased beneficiaries to still be given to them contributing to their estates,

or a mix between both types of instructions.

For the remaining assets, under "Select Clauses >> Other Instructions", input one of the modified (general) instructions, depending on whether the instruction is meant to apply to a single or multiple beneficiaries.
