How to set up 2FA (2 Factor Authentication)

Setting up 2FA

Log into your account then click on   at the top left corner to open the side menu.
Go to " Settings" >> " Security 2FA" and click Enable 2FA. Follow the onscreen instructions.

You will need an Authenticator App on your mobile device (e.g. handphone). If you do not have one, you can install either of the following on your mobile device:

Use your  Authenticator App (Authy, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) (as installed in step 2) to scan the QR code generated on your account.
  • For Authy - click on the menu icon and select "Add Account" to scan the QR code
  • For Google Authenticator - click on icon to scan the QR code
  • For Microsoft Authenticator - click "Add Account" and select "Other account (Google, Facebook, etc.)" to scan the QR code

Scan the QR code only with either Authy or Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.  DO NOT scan the QR code directly from your camera app or some QR code scanner apps as it may direct your to some other unknown Authenticator apps which may not be as secure!

Get the 6-digit code from your Authenticator App and key into accordingly. Then click Next to complete the 2FA setup.

Getting Backup Token

It is also good practice to keep Backup Token in case you lose your 2FA.

Log into your account, then go to " Settings" >> " Security 2FA" and select " Show Codes".
Click on " Generate Tokens" to get a list of backup tokens. Copy and save them aside somewhere safe.
