How do I give individual shares in an investment account?

Individual share prices/indexes/funds fluctuate over time, which is why people generally distribute their investments as a whole (i.e. like a giant portfolio consisting of various investments from different brokerages/trading accounts), as opposed to individual shares/accounts to different beneficiaries.

Check out this article for more information and how to do so.

In the Allocate Assets tab, select the asset. Within the asset, toggle on "Additional instructions" and key in the following (please fill in the relevant details accordingly):

I give my XXX shares ( ticker symbol) in this account to my {Relationship}, {Name}, {Identification Number/details}.

I give my XXX shares ( ticker symbol) in this account to my {Relationship}, {Name}, {Identification Number/details}.

Please note that any other investments/shares/funds within the account not listed in the instructions will be distributed according to the “Allocate asset <3” section (or based on the “Allocate residual asset” if “No specific allocation” is chosen.)
